Under Mojave Silver Skys - Part one

Under Mojave Silver Skys will be an ongoing thread of photos taken in the Mojave Desert, mainly throughout Southern Nevada & Southern California. The objective of this little photo journey is to convey the almost sureal feeling that only a sun blasted swath of deset rock, sand and flora can provide. In this case focusing on the very under appreciated landscapes of the Mojave.
This first installment includes a number of photos from different locations most all taken at the height of summer with the sun high in the sky glaring through wispy silver strands of high atmospheric clouds with no promise of rain or repieve from the hest for months still to come. It is these environs & visuals that inspired this series. Although this will be on-going, updates may not always be made on a regular basis, only when sights of the proper intimation of the Mojave are to be had.
